She DIY'd clothes and accessories in high school as a means of expressing her personal style.
Sarvie went on to study architectural engineering, keeping her creative side alive through digital art and design.
After several years working in the industry, Sarvie decided to pursue her MBA at Ivey Business School. There, she became heavily involved with the Entrepreneurship institute, retail club and Women in Business.
She is an avid learner, problem solver, and designer.
"When I worked in architecture, people used to ask me, 'If you could be doing anything else, what would it be?' -- my answer was always a Shoe Designer. Little did I know that dream would come to fruition through kids' shoes, with Beavos. I believe in the power of design to make everyday items not just better, but more inclusive."
