What makes Beavos shoes different from other kids’ shoes?
Beavos are designed with kids in mind. Most other children's shoes out there are just shrunken versions of adult shoes, with little regard for movement, weight, shape and fit.
Beavos shoes are wide-fit, allowing growing feet to splay in early development years. They are ultra-lightweight, our largest size weighing only 165 grams (0.36 pounds). We provide more modularity with removable insoles. They also have an adjustable yet durable upper, allowing little ones to roam freely.
Why is a wide toe box important for children’s feet?
A wide-toe box is especially important in the early foot development years for less restricted growth and movement. Narrow tow boxes often squish toes together, and get outgrown at a faster rate.
Wide-toe boxes are also part of a more inclusive shoe design, being more suitable for kids with chubby feet, prosthetics, or mobility struggles.
We consulted with podiatrists when designing Beavos; who often recommend flexible, wide-fit shoes for children. In early years, the bones and muscles in their feet are developing at a fast rate. Having more room for growth means less pain and more comfort.
Can my child put them on by themselves?
Absolutely! Beavos are designed for developing independence in young ones. Our sneakers have pull-tabs for easy-on and -off and fixed laces for flexibility without the hassle of tying.
They also have a velcro strap, making it easy for both parents and kids to adjust to their liking.
📏 Fit & Sizing
How do I choose the right size for my child?
If it is your first time purchasing Beavos shoes, we recommend taking a measurement using our size chart. You can also find mobile measuring tools (such as Measure or AR Ruler) on most smartphone devices! No paper, printer, or measuring tape needed.
We use standard children's sizing consistent with many other large name brands.
Do Beavo’s run true to size?
Yes, Beavos shoes run true to size. However, if your child is in between sizes or between 18 months to 3 years old, we recommend sizing up.
What if I order the wrong size — can I exchange?
Of course! We offer 30-day returns and exchanges. You can initiate an exchange or return by contacting us.
🛠️ Quality & Materials
What materials are Beavo’s made from?
Beavos shoes are made entirely from manmade materials.
Our sneakers are made from fabric and/or synthetic leather-style uppers. The inner lining is comprised of polyester. The outsole is lightweight EVA. Material tags can be found on inside tongue of your shoe.
Where are the shoes made?
Beavos shoes are made possible through our partnership with JIMI, our supplier based out of Zhejiang, China. We toured several factories before moving forward with our chosen partner, vetting for professionalism, mutual benefits, and relationship building.
They are specialized only in making kids' shoes!
How do I clean or care for the shoes?
